Consultation & Advocacy

When families are faced with their child’s evaluation and IEP meetings, the learning curve is steep. You don’t know what you don’t know. However, we do know that autism research by #actuallyautistic researchers is changing the way we provide strategies, structure, and support for these students.

At IRL Social Skills, we’ve moved well beyond beyond awareness — even beyond acceptance — into creating a space where neurodiversity is embraced, affirmed, advocated for, and met with love.

If you, your family, or your IEP team are not quite there yet, we offer consults and supportive services that can help you get to a place of appreciation, acceptance, accommodations, and affirmation for yourself or your autistic family member.

We support

  • Autistic and other neurodivergent teens and young adults.

  • Parents and caregivers, helping meet the needs of their loved ones.

  • Service providers who need a trusted and skilled referral partner.

  • Diversity in all its forms.

We offer educational consultation and advocacy for your child’s IEP, placement, and recovery services due to the pandemic.
