Autumn Marler, MA, Clinical Mental Health

Coach Autumn received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Naropa University. The program involved three years of attachment based small group work — particularly important when working with families. She has extended training in Somatic Experiencing, a process to work with the integration of body and trauma. A mindfulness and meditation instructor, she has also completed 40 hours of social justice awareness training. As a doula she attended over 200 births. She has also taught classes on consent and healthy relationships in the high schools, worked in teen homeless shelters, hospice, schools, clinics and as a parent advocate. She has taught classes in somatic-based parenting and healthy relationships. Autumn has three teen/young adult children. Two of her children are adopted and experienced early trauma and attachment rupture. As a parent of a neurodivergent child she also is very familiar with the joys and challenges of loving and advocating for a child who has extra needs that go beyond parenting 101. She understands firsthand that not only are parents working to help systems such as schools be more accommodating, but also that their own childhood attachment experiences and trauma directly impact their ability to parent effectively. She loves helping other parents in this journey.
