Jennifer Fields, MEd, QMHP

Jennifer is a lifelong learner, educator and licensed professional school counselor. She has her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. Her BA is in English and Anthropology. She is a parent of two young adults, taught 4th-12 grade as well as at a community college, was a college/career counselor and grade-level school counselor, and she transitioned to therapy in an effort to approach the varied needs of neurodivergent students with a more holistic lens. She currently supports adolescents in a Special Education therapeutic classroom as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), supporting social emotional skills as well as family education and support.

Jennifer became an educator, because she really hated school as a student. She was inspired to change systems, so students could feel seen. As a nontraditional educator, Jennifer is happiest. She was a founding faculty member of a nontraditional school, as well as a co-founder of a children's museum. Overarching philosophy: anything that transforms the learner is worth exploring.

Free time joy comes from being outside with family and friends, experiencing live music, eating and making food that is full of love, and reading.
