What we’re reading

As we ease deeper into fall and begin to spend more time indoors, many of us find ourselves reading more. Isn’t that one of the best things about fall and winter? Time to curl up with a good book on the sofa, a mug of tea or cocoa, maybe a furry best-friend nearby to keep our laps warm.

Here at IRL Social Skills, we are voracious readers, year-round. Because the majority of our coaching team is neurodivergent, when we find a subject that fascinates us, we can hyperfocus or “nerd out” like nobody’s business.

We thought we’d share our current reading list with you. Maybe you’ll be inspired to pick up one of the books mentioned, below.

HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY!

We’re also super excited to announce our Holiday Giveaway going on now through mid-December.

We’re giving away a copy of Eric Garcia’s book, We’re Not Broken: Changing the Autism Conversation.

It’s described as a “message from autistic people to parents, friends, coworkers and doctors. It’s also a love letter to austistic people.“ We LOVE this book and have a few extra copies we’d like to share with you.

To enter, all you need to do is sign up for our mailing list. We’ll draw the winner on December 12th and hopefully the lucky winner will receive their book in time for the holidays!
