Florida young adult goes from awkward to confident

I looked everywhere for a social skills class for my son. He is on the autism spectrum and was having a rough time during the pandemic. Zoom school was not really working for him and the lack of social interaction was frustrating.

I found this course and was hopeful. My son was hesitant because it’s a virtual format and he hated Zoom. It turned out to be a great success. 

My son went from feeling awkward speaking to peers to feeling confident in most situations including virtual, phone and in-person. He recently started dating and is able to use the skills he learned to navigate challenging situations. I’m super proud of him and grateful for this class. 

I learned an amazing amount of skills myself; it’s as much a skills class for parents/social coaches as it is for the students. —KAREN V.
